Comparison of Numerical Simulations and Analytic Solutions about Blasting Seismic Effects in Surrounding Rock

The propagation law of blasting seismic waves in the surrounding rock is discussed in this paper through numerical simulations method. A similar result was found after comparing numerical simulations with analytic solutions. The particle peak velocity in surrounding rock showed a certain law under the influence of seismic waves.By comparing the peak velocities of rock particle in different radial and axial distance we can find some laws which are displayed below. The particle peak velocity in the surrounding rock shows attenuation in form of wave with the increasing of radial distance,namely in alternating tension and compression state and zonal disintegration phenomenon appear. Besides,the particle peak velocity in surrounding rock attenuates quickly in the form of non-linear with change of axial distance.
