Underneath Tunnel Deformation Monitoring and Control During Deep Excavation

The excavation-induced influence on existing pipelines is one of the major concerns for urban geoenvironmental engineering.Underneath the planned substation of Neijiang(110 kV) and Dongting(220 kV) is a pipe-jacketing steel power tunnel with a diameter of 2.4 m,it is certain that the excavation will cause additional deformation and internal force in the existing tunnel structure.By adopting a tunnel deformation monitoring system consisting of hydraulic pipe,strain gauge and signal acquiring and transmission equipment,as well as a feed-back construction strategy,the deformation of the tunnel during construction stage is under well control.Compared with traditional ways of monitoring,the automatic deformation monitoring approach can reflect the tunnel deformation in real-time,providing data based on which the feed-back construction can be carried out.
