Chinese Social History:Path to Reinvigoration and Future Development

Jia Junmin(School of Business,Agricultural University of Hebei,Baoding 071001,China)
The study of Chinese social history experienced the two periods of flourishing development in the 1930s and 1950s.Since early 1960s,however,the study virtually stopped for more than twenty years.Despite these difficulties, the subject reemerged as a predominant science in new historical times and developed a path to reinvigoration with its own special characteristics after the third session of the eleventh Party congress. It is appropriate now to examine its path to reinvigoration to know the problems existed and to have a clear vision of its future development.
