WANG Ying-jie,WEI Qing-chao,YANG Mian(School of Civil Engineering,Beijing Jiaotong University,Beijing 100044,China)
This paper establishes the model of the relationship between regional city economic potential and accessibility based on the fractal theory. The influence of railway network construction to city and regional accessibility is studied, and cities in Northeast China are calculated as an example.Cities in Northeast China are classified as five grades. The lower accessibility of cities influence their economy development,so it is necessary to build railways to improve their accessibility. The city accessibility grade model established in this paper can be used to analyse the relationship between city development and railway network construction and to evaluate the railway network.
