The Dialectics of Popular Culture and Politics——the Main Line of British Culture Marxism

British Cultural Marxism is a Marxist political form of analysis, which aims to produce the democratic and socialist politics available to the contemporary society. In contemporary conditions, "Popular culture" and "Politics" are complement concepts. "Popular culture" has the properties of "politics", and "politics" has the properties of "popular culture". Such relations between popular culture and politics are consistent with Marxist political and cultural ideas. No matter seen from its subject or from its history, the main line of British Cultural Marxism is: the dialectics of popular culture and politics. British Cultural Marxism provides new dimensions for studying Culture and Marxism. It is both theoretical and practical problems that how British Cultural Marxism is studied and developed in contemporary context.
