The definitions and related basic concepts of melt spinning, wetspinning and dry spinning are introduced. Thereupon the particularand deep analysis is made to the melt spinning technology. Based on the relationship of time with temperature, fibre diameter, speed andcrystallinity, the process of fibre structure forming is described.The author points out that the crystallization taking place duringthe process of spinning is one occurred at non-isothermal, non-steadyconditions. Meanwhile, the crystallization equation of spinning processis deduced from Avrami formula and its mechanism is probed. This is the first part of Prof. Jiro Shimizu's unpublishedserial paper which will be put on this journal continuously.
