Research into Reading Habits——Taking the Atmosphere of Reading Newspapers and Periodicals in Late Qing for Example

The modern reading habits were from the late Qing Dynasty.After the Opium War,Chinese physical environment and cultural environment changed gradually,because the west culture was introduced to China.The emergence of a large number of mass media was an important indicator in the cultural environment.Newspaper industry not only reported a variety of community news,but also took the direction of public opinion,customs and education,show-up problems of social function.In the context of transition and change,in the promotion of "enlightening people" and "public education",reading has become a kind of Chinese folk culture.Formation of good reading habits enlarged the cognitive perspective,and inspired by the wisdom of the people,retained the social situation of the original eco-like for future generations.
