Investigation on the Extracurricular Reading of Deaf Middle School Students——Tangshan Special Education School as a Case

Extracurricular reading plays an important role in training the cognition,emotion,will,action,and socialization process of deaf middle school students. This article uses the self-made questionnaire to survey the extracurricular reading of 54 deaf middle school students of Tangshan special education school,analyzes the attitude and purpose,content and channel,time and method,habit and guidance of deaf students' extracurricular reading,and the influencing factors of the deaf students' extracurricular reading,then compares the language scores between male deaf students and female deaf students,analyzes those main issues and its reasons,proposes some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the verbal communication ability,including listening,speaking,reading and writing,of deaf middle school students.
