Expression of HIF-2α,VEGF,COX-2,MMP-9 and Their Relationship with Renal Cell Carcinoma Angiogenesis

Objective To investigate the hypoxia inducible factor-2 alpha( HIF-2α),vascular endothelial growth factor( VEGF),cyclooxygenase( COX-2),metal matrix enzyme-9( MMP-9) expression and its relationship with angiogenesis of renal cell carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemical method was performed to detect HIF-2,VEGF,COX-2,MMP-9 expression,and MVD( microvessel density) expression correlation analysis in 79 cases of surgical renal cell cancer specimens. Results The expression of VEGF in MMP-9 renal cell carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal renal tissues( P 0. 05); VEGF expression inthe different clinical stages of renal cell carcinoma MMP-9 was significantly different( P 0. 05). MVD,VEGF,and MMP-9 protein expression were positively correlated( r = 0. 381,0. 375,P 0. 05); the expression of COX-2 and MVD were related,and MVD in COX-Z expression grade 0 and 4 grade was the lowest. The difference had statistical significance among grade 1,2,3( P 0. 05). But there was no significant difference between0 grade and 4 grade( P 0. 05),and also no significant differenceamong grade 1,2,3( P 0. 05).The MVD value of HIF-2 positive group in renal cell carcinoma was higher than that in HIF-2 negative group,and the difference was statistically significant( MVD)( t = 4. 374,P 0. 05). Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between the expression of HIF-2 and MVD( r = 0. 545,P 0. 01). Conclusion The expressions of HIF-2 alpha,VEGF,MMP-9 and COX-2 have correlation with renal cell carcinoma and angiogenesis,clinical related gene expression according to the situation and take appropriate intervention measures.
