The Value of Real-time Ambulatory Blood Glucose Monitoring System in the Monitoring of Blood Glucose Fluctuation in Intensive Treatment of Insulin Pump in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective To evaluate the value of real-time dynamic glucose monitoring system( CGMS) in the monitoring of blood glucose fluctuation in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus( T2 DM) during intensive insulin pump therapy. Methods A total of 140 T2 DMpatients admitted in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2016 were selected as subjects. They were randomly divided into study group and control group,and each group had 70 cases. The study group were used with CGMS combined with insulin pump to adjust the amount of insulin for intensive treatment,and the control group was treated with finger blood glucose combined with insulin pump to adjust the amount of insulin for intensive treatment. blood glucose fluctuation and blood glucose control were compared in both groups. Results The levels of Hb A1 c,FBG and 2 h BG in the two groups were statistically significant( P 0. 05),but there was no significant difference between the study group and the control group after treatment with Hb A1 c,FBG and 2 h BG( P 0. 05). The blood glucose level of the study groups was significantly lower than that of the control group( P 0. 05). The blood glucose level of the study groups was significantly higher than that of the control group( P 0. 05). However,the difference of blood glucose between the two groups was not statistically significant( P 0. 05). During the course of treatment,the detection rate of hypoglycemia in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the asymptomatic blood glucose detection rate in the study group was significantly higher than the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion CGMS could be used to detect blood glucose fluctuation in T2 DMpatients,which can significantly improve the detection rate of hypoglycemia and improve the curative effect.
