Research on fine-spectra and local structure of 3d~3 ions at trigonal crystal field

Aim The relations between the fine-spectra and local structure of 3d3 ions at trigonal crystal field have been investigated.Methods The spin-Hamiltonian theory and the complete diagonlizatoin method are used in the calculations.Results The relations between fine-spectra and bonding angle of YAG:Cr3+ crystal are calculated.Conclusion The local structure of 3d3 ions at trigonal crystal field is sensitive to the splitting of ground state,whereas insensitive to other excited state energy levels.
