Study on direct torque control for asynchronous motor

Aim In order to improve the dynamic performance,modeling and simulation based on MATLAB/SIMULINK were used in the control system of the DTC(Direct Torque Control).Methods By adopting the improved model of the torque estimation,the simulation model of the control system and the asynchronous motor was established in the environment of the MATLAB/SIMULINK software package.Results The new model of the torque estimation,which can be applied to the control system,was constructed.Conclusion The experimental results indicated that the dynamic performance of the DTC control system for asynchronous motor is enhanced by the improved model of the torque estimation.
