Digital image encryption based on chaotic sequences

Aim In order to guarantee the security and the reliability of the digital image,a symmetric encryption algorithm based on the model of Logistic mapping for chaotic sequences is proposed to encrypt the digital image.Methods The symmetric encryption algorithm on the basis of Logistic chaotic series is designed to implement the encryption and the decryption of the digital image.Results An example shows that the encrypted image has entirely concealed the content and the distribution of gray scale of the original image.Conclusion The chaotic encryption based on Logistic mapping is a safe,efficient,fast encryption method.
