Purposes—To study of regional industrial structure and social benefits has important practical significance for promoting regional industrial structure optimization and upgrading, and achieving sustained and healthy development of social economy. Methods—Through SPSS21.0software,principal component analysis and linear weighted summation method,we get the social benefit index of every city in Shaanxi Province,China,so as to analyze the temporal and spatial evolution pattern of the social benefits of the three industrial regions in Northern Shaanxi,Guanzhong and Southern Shaanxi.Result—(1)The industrial structure from the social point of view, the overall social benefits in three regions are rising, the early social development in Southern Shaanxi is best, but as time goes on the industrial structure development trend of good social benefit space northward, the Yulin City and Xi'an City industrial structure to achieve the best social benefit.(2)The three benefits of industrial structure in Shaanxi Province have obvious regional differences, mainly showing the difference between North and South, and the internal difference increases first and then decreases with time. The difference of social benefits mainly comes from the change of industrial structure in Northern Shaanxi. Conclusion—The overall social benefits of the three regions are all rising. The social benefits of the industrial structure in Northern Shaanxi and Guanzhong areas are generally increasing rapidly, and the growth and changes are also fluctuating. The social benefits of the industrial structure in Southern Shaanxi generally increase slowly, and their growth and changes are also small.
