Research on the image segmentation method based on contour feature extraction

Purposes—To design a new fusion algorithm on the basis of the background difference method and the inter frame difference method so as to reduce the influence of internal cavity and edge missing on image segmentation accuracy.Methods—Firstly,the background model is established with the background difference method.The target is separated from the motion background.Secondly,the foreground object contour is filled with mathematical morphology.Finally,the foreground moving target and the background model are processed with the inter frame difference method,and the target is segmented by this algorithm.Results and Conclusions—The experimental data show that compared with the current image segmentation algorithm,the image contour segmentation is clear and accurate,the internal cavity is reduced,and the edge information is rich.The algorithm in this paper can segment images more accurately.
