The present paper contributes a knowledge of the stamen growth of Sinowilsonia henryi Hemsl,a monotypic genus of the family Hamamelidaceae and a endemic species of China. Based on the comparision of pollen morphology features of the genus Sinowilsonia and its closely relately genera Distylium, Corylopsis, Fortunearia, and Hamamelis, account for that Sinowilsonia may be segreated as a tribe-Sinowilsonieaa or group together with Fortuneara a tribe(Sinowilsonieae),the present works is more or less distinct form Tong (1930), Harns (1930), Schulze-Menze (1964)and Zhang's (1973), but pollen features agree with Tang (1943) and Zhang's (1979) conclusion.
