Application of Span-thickness Ratio Identical Law to Bending Test of Electronic Glass

The span-thickness ratio identical law discussed in this article was used for bending test of cover glass of cell phone, panel computer, TV and the like electronic products. A new test method with characteristics of easy operation and high reliability was developed against various thickness of glass substrate manufactured by different production line, or diverse formula. The bending test method established by the span-thickness ratio identical law was described in details. Confirmatory experiments of this law were carried out with various thickness of glass sheets. Test results show that the law comply with the regularity of bending features of various thickness materials.
