Cloning and sequence analysis of Zma006292 in Zea mays L.

【Objective】Maize is one of the most important crops in the world.The yield was reduced seriously by biotic and abiotic stresses.In plant NAC transcription factors play essential roles in the intricate mechanisms of signal transduction.They regulate many genes' expression in different stress responses.In this study,an ATAF subfamily NAC transcription factor gene Zma006292 was isolated from the maize inbred line B73,and bioinformatics analysis was carried out.【Methods】The full-length cDNA of Zma006292 was amplified by RT-PCR.The sequence characteristics and evolutionary relationship were performed with multiple sequence alignment and phylogenetic analysis.The amino acids composition,conserved domain,sub-cellular localization and protein tertiary structure were analyzed with various bioinformatics softwares.【Result】The full-length cDNA of Zma006292 was 609 bp.
