An Optimized PWM Method Used in Three-Level Inverters

This paper introduces a PWM control method used in three-level inverter, which has the following characters:based on triangle-carrier-wave comparing method, less calculation work,quick response,simplicity and less output harmonics,self-balancing ability of neutral-point voltage and unaffected ability caused by narrow-pulse. Meanwhile,it is possible to work with switching frequency less than 500 Hz and make the working times of each switch no more than 1 in a switching period.
