Simulation Research on Vector Control of In-wheel Five Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

With the advent of power electronics,computer techniques and modern control theories,the inverter-fed machine drives remove the limitation on the number of power supplies and machines phases.Compared with three-phase machine drive system,multiphase machine drive system has the advantages such as low dc power supply,high power and high reliability.Therefore,multi-phase machine drives are very suitable for electrical/hybrid vehicles,aerospace applications,ship propulsion and other high power applications,and multi-phase machine drives fascinate researchers all over the world.However,as a new technology,the control of multi-phase machine suffers from some problems which are worth to be researched and probed in theory and practices.
