A Clinical Study on Treating Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy of Newborn with Naloxone Adding Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae Injection

Objective Observing the effect of Naloxone adding Radix salviae miltiorrhizae in treating hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy of newborn. Methods 35 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups,which include observed group (20 cases) and control group (15 cases). Both were given general treatment, and the observed group was treated with Naloxone adding Radix salviae miltiorrhizae. Attention was paid to the changes on clinical symptoms and signs of the newborn patients. Based on a 12-month follow-up visit of all patients, observation was focused on the occurrence rate of sequelae of nerve system. Results The observed group had obvious improvement in clinical symptoms and a low occurrence rate of sequelae of nerve system. The results showed significant difference from the control group. Conclusion Treating hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy of newborn with Naloxone adding Radix salviae miltiorrhizae is effective.
