The effect analysis of therapy for neonatal respiratory distress syndrome with pulmonary surfactant and NCPAP

GUAN Yufeng;Department of Paediatrics,People’s Central Hospital of Zhanjiang;
Objective To study effect of pulmonary surfactant and NCPAP on neonatal respiratory distress syndrome( NRDS).Methods Seventy-two children with NRDS were divided into observation group and control group( n = 36,each),and observation group was given PS + NCPAP,control group was given PS + mechanical ventilation( MV),treatment effects,oxygen treatment time,length of hospital stay,complications were compared. Results The total efficacy rate of observation group was 94. 44%,higher than77. 78% of control group( P 0. 05). The complication rate was 13. 89%( 5 /36),lower than 36. 11%( 13 /36) of control group( P 0. 05). Oxygen treatment time and complication rate were lower than that of control group( P 0. 01). Conclusion Pulmonary surfactant and NCPAP can effectively reduce oxygen treatment time,the incidence rate of complications and length of hospital stay.
