Treatment of unilateral adjacent double segment lumbar disc herniation with small incision unilateral vertebral arch fixation combined with interbody fusion

Objective To observe the clinical effect and effect of the treatment of Unilateral adjacent double segment lumbar disc herniation with small incision unilateral vertebral arch fixation combined with interbody fusion. Methods Clinical data of 22 patients with treatment of unilateral adjacent double segment lumbar disc herniation with small incision unilateral vertebral arch fixation combined with interbody fusion were reviewed. The time of operation,the blood loss during the operation,bone graft fusion and complications were observed,using VAS to score the degree of pain and JOA to score the degree of lumbocrural pain. Results The time of operation ranged from 80 to 110 minutes and the intraoperative blood loss was 150 ~ 220 ml. All the patients were followed up for 12 ~ 18( 15 ± 3) months,and the functional index at the final follow-up was better than that of preoperation( P 0. 01). No lumbocrural infection,vertebral pedicure looseness,fracture,nonunion or fusion backwards appeared after operation. Conclusion The treatment of unilateral adjacent double segment lumbar disc herniation with small incision unilateral vertebral arch fixation combined with interbody fusion can relieve the symptoms of patients effectively,improve the quality of lives,has advantages of little trauma,rapid recovery and fewer complications and has good clinical effect.
