The analysis on the microstructure and mechanical properties of low carbon steel sheets SS400 in converter-CSP line

The result of the microstructure and mechanical properties of low carbon steel sheets SS400 produced on CSP line in Baotou Iron and steel(Group) Co.was analyzed,which shows that there is plentiful ferrite and little pearlite in the microstructure.The particle diameter is thin and even,while average particle diameter is about 12 μm.The particle diameter at the center is wider than on the surface though with little difference between them.The mechanical properties such as σ_s,σ_b,δ and δ_s/δ_b are higher than those of the Q235B on the national standard.
