APPLICATION OF INVARIANT IMBEDDING IN THE MOVING BOUNDARY PROBLEM SOLUTION

Invariant imbedding method is applied to solve moving boundary problem. It converts a complicated movingboundary problem into an initial value problem. In the paper ice melting processing has been calculated. Free convection boundary condition and initial solidificationin in the ice melting processing have been treated conviniently by numerical technique,and calculating time decreases. The results of calculation are compared with those of melting experiment of a ice-ball.
