Application of English Songs to College English Teaching

Interest is a kind of massive study motivity. Enjoying English songs as a sort of supplementary teaching means can stimulate students' learning interest and improve teaching quality. This paper analyses the function of English songs in listening course in College English teaching and presents some effective methods in conjunction with personal experience to stimulate students' interest in English study.
