Objective: To explore the correlation between hyperlipidemia,interleukin-6 and stroke. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted. The clinical data of 89 patients with stroke were selected as the observation group. Meanwhile,89 healthy people during the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of triglyceride( TG),total cholesterol( TC),low density lipoprotein( LDL-C),high density lipoprotein( HDL-C),and interleukin-6( IL-6) were measured, and the correlation between hyperlipidemia,IL-6 and stroke was analyzed. Results: The level of serum lipids and IL-6 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group( P 0. 05). Multiple factor Logistic regression analysis showed that TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C and IL-6 levels were risk factors for stroke( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Hyperlipidemia and IL-6 are positively correlated with stroke, and can be used as important indicators for the development and prognosis of stroke patients.
