The expression and pathogenesis of estrogen receptor and tyrosine kinase receptor B in the eutopic and ectopic endometrium tissues of patients with endometriosis

Objective: To investigate the expression and pathogenesis of estrogen receptor( ER) and tyrosine kinase receptor B( TrkB) in eutopic and ectopic endometrium of patients with endometriosis( EMs). Methods: A total of 52 patients with endometriosis admitted from July 2017 to December 2017 were selected. All patients underwent laparoscopic pelvic endometriosis removal,including 26 cases of endometrial proliferative phase and 26 cases of secretory phase. 52 cases of ectopic and eutopic endometrium were retained during the operation,all of which were confirmed by pathology as endometriosis. Immunohistochemical method,real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot were used to detect the expression differences of ERα、ERβ、TrkB mRNA and protein in eutopic and ectopic tissues. Results: The expression of ERβ and TrkB mRNA in ectopic endometrium of EMs patients was higher than that in eutopic endometrium,while the expression level of ERα mRNA was lower than that in eutopic endometrium tissues( P 0. 05). The expression of ERβ and TrkB protein in the ectopic endometrium of EMs was higher than that of the eutopic endometrium,but the expression level of ERα mRNA was lower than that of the eutopic endometrium,and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). The expression of ERα,ERβ and TrkB protein in the eutopic EMs proliferative phase was higher than that of the secretory endometrium,and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Estrogen receptor β and tyrosine kinase receptor B may be involved in the pathogenesis of endometriosis.
