Improvements on the Packaging and Sealing Techniques of Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic Tube

The explosive packaging tube made of glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) holds manyadvantages such as moisture-proof, lightweight, anti-corrosion and high intensity etc., whichis an excellent explosive packaging container. This paper analysed the function of its sealingconstruction, pointed out the shortcomings and problems that are existing, approached thecausing factors of them and put forward some efficient improving techniques. The propertiesof water-proof after packaging and sealing GFRP tube have been improved without alternationof the original construction, and good resultes have been obtained.
