Application and exploration of OSCE exam in the assessment of stomatology practice

Objective In order to enhance teaching quality in undergraduate practice,we plan to reform the assessment of undergraduate practice skills for students majored in Stomatology.Methods We evaluate undergraduate practice skills through Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE)and study the problems in current OSCE through the forms of analysis,questionnaire and symposium.Results The majority of teachers and students consider that OSCE can reflect the operation ability of undergraduate students objectively.Conclusion OSCE contributes to improve teaching quality in undergraduate practice skills for students majored in Stomatology.
