Analysis of Fireproof Design of American and Russian Destroyers

Zhu Tao and Lou Weifeng  
In the paper,the state of art of the fireproof design of American and Russian destroyers is generally reviewed, guidelines to design a fireproof system for a destroyer in the two countries are summarized and compared with each other,the advantages and shortcomings of the guidelines are analyzed,and some lessons of them that can be drawn for us are proposed.
