Control System Design of a 3 Degree of Freedom Tilter

A new mechanism of tilter is proposed in this paper.The combination of semi-closed loop and full-closed loop control methods can ensure both static precision and dynamic smoothness.In the design of the system,the closed-loop control method was designed,based on the motion controller,servo system and high precision encoder.Two moving patterns,step moving and continuous,were designed.For the convenience of users and monitor the actual movement of tilter,the use of motion control card and digital I/O card control with VB.NET is designed to the computer display and Monitoring software,the interface easy and friendly.
