The Activation of Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Formic Acid Methanol and Formaldehyde at Polyaniline Film Electrode Modified by Platinum Microparticles

The activations of electrocatalytic oxidation of polyaniline film electrode modified by platinum microparticles〔PAN(Pt)〕 in formic acid of different consistence and pH have been studied by using cyclic voltammetric method.And the activations of electrocatalytic oxidation of PAN(Pt) to formic acid,methanol and formaldehyde aslo have been investigatied.The results show that the activate of electrocatalytic oxidation of PAN(Pt) to them are higher,the peaks of electric potential are 0.28 V、0.75 V and 0.70 V respectively,the current intensity of them are 330.4 mA· cm -2 ,878.6 mA·cm -2 and 735.7 mA·cm -2 .The pH in the system of the electrocatalytic oxidation of PAN(Pt) to formic acid should be controlled at about 0.7.When the consistence of formic acid ranges from 0.01 to 1.0 mol·L -1 ,it can be checked quantitatively using PAN(Pt) electrode as sensor.
