A New Weight Cut Fuzzy Median Filter Algorithm

A new weight cut fuzzy median filter is proposed.The algorithm considers not only the detection of noise but also considers the noise pixels existing around the center pixel,and cuts their weight value. The experiment results show that this method is superior to the fuzzy average filter and the standard median filter on the aspects of noise removal and edge preservation.
