Study on Syhthesis and Properties of Poly (Aryl Ether Sulfone Ether Ketone Ketone)

Poly(aryl ether sulfone ether ketone ketone)(PESEKK) copolymers of high molecular weight have been synthesized by low temperature solution polycondensation of 4,4′-bis(phenoxy) diphenyl sulfone(DPODPS),terephthaloyl chloride(TPC) and isophthaloyl chloride(IPC) in a catalyst/solvent system of AlCl_3/ClCH_2CH_2Cl/DMF.The copolymers have been characterized by FT-IR,DSC,TG and WAXD.The results indicate that the copolymers exhibit excellent heat-resistance and good solubility.Raising IPC content in the copolymer decreases its T_m and crystallinity.
