Synthesis of Colloidal Zeolite T by Hydrothermal Treatment

Colloidal zeolite T with the mean size of 150 nm was synthesized by hydrothermal treatment using TMAOH as template at relatively low temperature.The as-synthesized samples were characterized by XRD,IR,SEM and N2 adsorption-desorption.The results showed that the colloidal zeolite T had uniform particle size distribution and large surface area,and the very small amount of colloidal seeds was effective to promote the crystallization of zeolite T.Meanwhile,the particle size and distribution of synthesized samples could be effectively controlled by the adding of seeds or template.
