DAT TG Method to Determine Kinetic Parameters of the Thermal Decomposition of Solid---A Thermal Analysis Experiment

The instrumental analysis experiment that employs TG DTA observing kinetic parameters for the thermal decomposition of solid has not been resported yet.Given the no isothermal conditions,this paper describes an experiment for the quantitative determination of kinetic parameters of the thermal decomposition of potassium chlorate and its catalytic reaction with manganese oxide by TG DTA.It offers an opportunity for the graduate student to introduce thermal methods of analysis.
