THE STUDIES ON METAMORPHICC STAGES AND METAMORPHIC PTDPATH OF CHENCAI GROUP,SOUTHWESTERN ZHEJIANG PROVINSE

According to the characteristics of growth and development of mineralsduring defferent stages of structural deformations , metamorphism of Chencai group insouthwestern Zhejiang province can be divided into four stages. Metamorphic stageⅠtookplace at the same time as deformation stage D_1,with metamorphic assemblage “chlorite+biotite+muscovite+plagioclase+quartz”,representing greenshist facies metamorphism;Metamorphic stage Ⅱ occured during the static period between D_1 and D_2 ,withmetamorphic assemblage “staurolite+garnet+plagioclase+quartz+biotite+muscovite”,metamorphic temperature of ± 5l0℃and pressure of±0.7 GPa; Metamorphic stageⅢhappened at the same time as deformation stage D_2 ’ with metamorphic assemblage“sillimanite+garnet+plagioclase + quartz + biotite±muscovite±K-feldspar”,metamorphic temperature of 600~650℃and pressure of 0.55~0.65 GPa; Metamorphicstage Ⅳ commenced after deformation stage D_2,with assemblage“chlorite+muscovite”,equivalent to lower greenschist facies metamorphism,The pTD path,constructedaccording to the temperatures and pressures of different deformation stages,can be usedto explain the tectonic histories of metamorphism and structural deformation of Chencaigroup,southwestetn Zhejiang province.
