Influence of tin-plated grid on formation and capacity of lead-acid batteries

Tin-plated grid has a greater influence on the formation and capacity of lead-acid battery. As plating Sn on positive and negative grid surface, it can change the forming curve and advantage fondng processand increase capacity of batteries. While the components of paste are different, tin-plated grid advantages theforming process all the same. At high-rate discharge, the capacity of lead-acid battery relates to separators.It can hardiy influence the capacity of high current discharge when using polyethylene sepamtor with greater resistance, however it does influence on the capacity of high current discharg when using glass fibre separatorwith less resistance
