Application of low antimony alloy in batteries for miner's lamp

The high antimony alloy is still in common use in batteries for domestic miners lamp.Due to its inherent drawbacks this kind of battery has failed to meet the performance requirement for miners lamp.This paper outlines the development of the grid alloy used in lead acid batteries and describes the feasiability and practice of low antimony multi component alloy instead of conventional high antimony.
