Effect of zinc content on oxygen evolution behavior of Pb-Zn alloys

Oxygen evolution behavior on Pb-Zn alloys in sulfuric solution was studied by using linear sweeping voltammetry (LSV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).The results of linear sweeping voltammetry showed that electrical current of oxygen evolution can increase with zinc content increasing; electrochemical impedance measurements indicated that electrochemical resistance of oxygen evolution can reduce with zinc content increasing, so zinc can accelerate oxygen evolution. But zinc content had little impact on oxygen evolution behavior.
