Ruan Cheng-xue (Party School of Xinxian County Party Committee,Xinxian 465550,China)
Formalism is a metaphysically ideological viewpoint andmethod, which deviates from our party's purpose to serve the people wholeheartedly and the thought line to seek truth from facts.Formalism comes from its own thought source with a deeply historical and cultural background, and has a relationwith the imperfection of the political systems in our country. In order to oppose formalism,we must treat it by looking into both its root cause and sysptoms:Fistly depending on education,Secondly system.Education will lay a foundation while system is a guarantee.
