Airline Revenue Management:Research Overview and Prospect

Revenue Management, which origins from airline industry, has gotten great success. But in our country, it is still in the stage of introducing. It is a problem how to apply it in our practice that can improve the competition power and revenue of airline industry. The article covers the developments of airline revenue management in forecasting, pricing, seat inventory control and overbooking, and suggests future research directions, and helps to the domestic research.
