Problems and Suggestions on Spoken Communication of Teachers' Institute Students

In the 21th century with the further open to the outside,the capacity of the oral communication can influence the individual and society.However there are many problems now in spoken communication on students even and teachers of teachers' colleges,such as the low reate of speaking mandarin Chinese as oral language,in ferior quality of students' interpersonal perform and teachers' incompetence of professional speech.These problems result from the poor basis and late initiation of spoken interaction in mandarin Chinese,ignorance and lack of enthusiasm and dynamics in study,inadequacy of qualified teachers and out-of-date theory as well as devoid of scientifically evaluating system in training.To solve the problems are to strengthen students' recognition about the significance of oral communication in improving their future lives and works,to further purify the environment of standard oral communication for teachers and students,to enhance students' practice to improve their grasping level,to stress teachers' training and retraining of professional speech and to establish the overall scientific assessment of oral communication.
