A Study on an Internet-supported Hypertextualized Model of Reading Teaching & Learning in College English

An internet-supported,hypertextualized model of College English-reading teaching learning is explored tentatively in this study based on learning theory of humanism and constructivism.A flow chart has been presented to demonstrate the procedure of the teaching learning and the outstanding characteristics are expounded,namely,individualization of reading process,richness openness of reading materials,diversity of teachers' roles.Furthermore,the pilot study confirms that students have favorable attitudes towards this model.
