Practice of DIY,a Guided Teaching Method in the Professional English Course in Electronics Specialty

According to the present problems in Professional English teaching,this paper explores the teaching method,Do It by Yourself(DIY),based on student-centered teaching idea.The teaching contents are broken up and designed into the various tasks,completed by the students’ Cooperation systematically,coherently,with different levels,and the students’ English listening,speaking,reading and writing of translation skills are trained comprehensively.It is proved by teaching practice that this method can mobilize students’ ability of active study,improve the students’ interest and effect in study,and promote the teaching level and quality of Professional English.
