Obstacles of Applying Developmental Evaluation on Classroom Teaching Quality in Universities and Relative Countermeasures

Developmental evaluation on classroom teaching quality is a kind of formative evaluation,which aim is not only to improve teaching quality,but also to promote the development of teachers.It overcomes disadvantages of traditional award and punishment evaluation and has obvious comparative advantages.However,developmental evaluation on classroom teaching quality has not been wildly used in China's universities till now.Its application is filled with kinds of obstacles,such as misfit in human environment,difficulty in designing evaluation,pressure to evaluation cost,influence of path-lock and so on.Therefore,in order to implement the developmental evaluation on classroom teaching quality smoothly in universities,some countermeasures should be taken,including propaganda and education,theoretical studies,financial input,system design,etc.
