Doll's theory of "4R"refers to richness,recursive,relational,rigorous.The middle school English teaching based on the "4R" theory is a special teaching instruction form that viewed from the post-modern thinking mode.It advocates the characteristics of innovation,decentralization,democracy and diversity by focusing on emergent teaching aims,developmental teaching idea,mutual teaching process and scientific teaching evaluation."4R" theory plays an instructive role in middle school English teaching,teachers' teaching wisdom,teaching mode as well as the reform of teaching evaluation.
