The Characteristics of the Cohesion between Secondary and Higher Vocational Education in the United States and some Enlightenment to China

Strengthening the cohesion between secondary and higher vocational education,promoting the connection between vocational and general education and implementing lifelong education are the great objectives of the development of education around the world.This paper analyzes the characteristics of the cohesion between secondary and higher vocational education of the United States in detail,and those are coherent training objectives of the cohesion between secondary and higher vocational education,reasonable vocational curriculum design,slack and multiple recruitment methods and formal regulations and laws.Therefore,some enlightenment has been achieved to strengthen the cohesion between secondary and higher vocational education in China.
