“Knowledge and Morality Are Inherent In the Soul”——The Educationnal View of Ancient Philosophers

Are man's knowledge and morality inherent in the soul,or taught by teachers? Obviously,it concerns two different aspects of philosophy. Man's knowledge and morality are inherent in the human's soul. And it is basic principle of education to guide the knowledge and morality from man's soul. On the contrary,attempting to install man's mind with knowledge is indoctrination rather than education. Based on several practical problems of education,this article discusses its basic principles.
